God our creator understands the importance of time in the scheme of things according to the book of Ecclesiastes 3:1-8. In the time of creation, God spent time putting things in place for the benefit of man who was the last creature.  Unfortunately, of all the creatures of the creator, man which has dominion over all other creatures happens to be the one who has failed the purpose of its creation. Why? Because man has failed to use time effectively and judiciously. Time has the following features: pleasure, death, sorrow, happiness, success, failure, and so on. Most, unfortunately, time in its features has no recovery or backup. The latest technologies have in them backups, we make photocopies, we save on memory cards, we save on our emails and in our bank accounts but technology has never developed any mechanism to save time because time is MYSTERY! The recent and vehement campaign by the Governor of Ekiti State, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, and the Chairman of the Nigeria Governors Forum (NGF) against the Local Government autonomy  is suspicious and calls for great concern by all and sundry at the time Nigeria  needs solutions from all the forms of avoidable tragedies that have brought her to her knees.   Fayemi had on different occasions argued against the “non-existence” of Local Government.
