Be INTENTIONAL in Building RELATIONSHIP

Being deliberate about building good relationships is one of the very things that can help anyone to scale any height in life.  The era of using certificates as the only metric for employment or job influence is gradually fading away.

Character and relationship building are some of the factors that really count nowadays. This is not to say that you must not have the right certifications.

As a young person seeking to grow career-wise, building a good relationship around your chosen field is very key. Why? Because you need the right people to make progress.

That text message, festive greetings, occasional checks, gifts, and the likes has a way of registering your presence in the mind of people, particularly your career superiors.

For example, A and B are working under the same superior in the same organization and both are good at what they do, but B is always in touch with his superior to check on his wellbeing and sometimes presents gifts...  Eventually, there is a better opportunity somewhere else, who do you think the superior will want to recommend?

Answer for yourself and that is how it works with God.

You cannot be of bad attitude and expect people to speak good of you or fight your course. Never possible! It is a natural law.

Biblical Daniel, Joseph, and Esther are perfect examples of what I am talking about.

Also, as a superior, be of the right attitude to your subjects. They can also mention your name in high places. Don't underestimate their network.
The story of Naman and her house girl is another perfect example.

Check your life and ask critical questions and possibly make a change where necessary.

Remain blessed!
