I write to you as one with little experience.  As you embark on career journey, don't ever wait to get a job, because one may never come.  Rather, strategically position yourself as one who is ready to grow by #volunteering in/around area of your career interest and am sure you will discover the basis of my advice along the line.  Till today, I am an addicted volunteer for people and projects and it has aided my growth to reasonable extent.  You will end up building experience, which your years of waiting and money can't buy and it will make the difference between you and your contemporaries afterwards.  The available jobs are now for the skillful..  Be wise and smart! Research the world from  inception, speakers and writers are people who gain command without contestation. The skills make people lord of words and make them a mirror through which others can see things, including the future.  Future? Yes! There is a great evil parading the 21st century church, daily gaining dominance with probably little or no caution. The evil is gradually turning the places of worship to a place of distraction and self "commercialization", not only to congregants but also to church leaders. The evil is/has gained legal backup and now very acceptable to the society.  What is the Evil?  The culture of dressing by some sisters/ladies to the fellowship of brethren.  Story: Recently, I visited a church and in my usual way, I observed things as the service progressed. It was time for testimony and people came out to tell of what God has done for them. Here are some of things we must critically look out for in every #contestant if me must make headway as a nation as we journey to 2023: 1. Age 2. Pedigree 3. Health Status  4. Track Records 5. Mental Alertness 6. Academic Qualifications The aforementioned has cost Nigeria years possible unrecoverable retrogression. It is no news that one of the topical issues in Nigeria at the moment is the agitations from across different ethnic and socio-cultural groups. In Nigeria, it is undeniable that most religious leaders have indoctrinated their followers to believe that political participation is abominable.  The above assertion is one of the reasons for our pitiable state as a nation,  yet, we daily complain about the unpalatable state of things in the county with the belief that fasting and prayers can substitute the place of active involvement in politics and governance environment. I have been to churches where it was outrightly condemned that politics is evil, and it is not what a true child of God should be involved.
